Yes, some mushrooms require alcohol extraction and there is residual alcohol in these tinctures. For those mushrooms that do not require alcohol extraction, ethanol is added in the tincture for preservation purposes. All the finished products contain 20% alcohol. With alcohol content more than 20%, the Compounds of Interest and the product quality stays intact for up to 3 years.
